PT. Gaka IndoinSpection (GIS) in providing professional engineers for International Petroleum Exploration Corporation. Personnel shall normally be located at Company Offices in Jakarta, Indonesia but may be required to undertake business trips within and outside Indonesia.

We are looking for outstanding person to join with our team As :

Lead Machinery Engineer
Jakarta Raya

Responsibilities:
Supervise and guide studies and design of rotating and package equipment for topside to support achievement of project targets on time, on budget, and with high quality & safety; and responsible for system's technical reliability and its integration in the overall facility.

1) Rotating and Package Equipment Design 

• Review & evaluate FEED Contractors' rotating and package equipment design and performance analysis.
• Ensure that ancillary components included in equipment design
• Review material compatibility assessment for equipment
• Ensure that final design is in line with INPEX and Masela specifications along with project documentation
• Identify scope and develop specifications for EPC phase based on approved final design
• Coordinate evaluation status of FEED deliverables of Multi FEED for rotating and package equipment
• Monitor and control progress of Multi FEED for rotating and package equipment
• Coordinate local content assessment for rotating and package equipment

2) Technical Assurance and Integrity

• Verify & evaluate integrity and sign off FEED for rotating and package equipment design and make final recommendation to Head of Topside Engineering
• Lead performance and reliability assessment for rotating and package equipment
• Review design calculations, drawings and simulation models in order to verify accuracy of deliverables

3) Contractor Management

• Ensure that FEED Contractors provide proper progress reporting and complete documentation for rotating and package equipment design

4) Planning, Costs and Risk Management

• Provide and regularly update work plan; schedule and milestones; cost estimates for rotating and package equipment design to Head of Topside Engineering
• Inform possible delays and budget overruns to Head of Topside Engineering and recommend appropriate solutions; ensure that FEED Contractor implements solutions approved by Head of Topside Engineering

5) Development and Leadership

• Ensure behaviors, performance, and resourcing of own team support Masela's goals, company policy and standards
• Participate in business planning, budgeting, systems integration, peer reviews, and other initiatives as required
• Encourage continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
• Mentor and appraise staff in own team
• Any other activities as requested to support INPEX success

6) Others

• Reporting to Head of Topside Engineering
• Lead Machinery Engineer manages machinery group including subordinates of Rotary Machinery Engineer and Package Engineer during FEED
• Command of the English language written and spoken
• Ability to mentor and develop less senior personnel especially Indonesian nationals

Experience

• Minimum 15 years experience in Oil & Gas facility engineering / design / construction, including at least 5 years in FEED and EPC of onshore/offshore and/or LNG plant
• Experienced in FEED, detailed engineering, procurement and installation for rotating equipment, especially gas compressors, gas turbines and large size pumps in onshore and offshore facilities, especially cryogenic plant including LNG plant and FPSO
• Experienced in FEED, detailed engineering, procurement and installation for package equipment such as MEG, inhibitor, phosphate, electro chlorination, desalination, demineralization, instrument air including air dryer, nitrogen generation, etc in onshore and offshore facilities including FPSO
• Experienced in preparation of  technical  bid packages and evaluation of technical bids
• Experienced in various engineering studies and workshops like HAZOP, HAZID, etc
• Experienced in development and review of technical specifications, drawings, data reports, and other documentation such as technical requisitions
• Experienced in working in major exploration & production companies or EPC contractors
• Superior project planning and budgeting skills
• Knowledge of industry standards and codes (quality, safety and others) applicable to LNG plant and FPSO
• Familiar with project safety management
• Having the flexible mind and sparing no pains to implement the Services

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree / Post Graduate Degree, Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): project safety management.
• Required language(s): English
• At least 15 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Engineering - Mechanical
