DESKTOP ENGINEER

Responsibilities:
To provide IT support remotely or in-person.
To provide professional services in all aspects of day to day IT Operation, with primary focus on the desktop layer. This includes problems resolution, problems escalation and incident management.
To work closely with the Customer’ IT team to ensure the smooth running of operations in order to support the main business function.
To adhere to Customer’ IT policies and migration procedures as well as Customer’ corporate procedures.
To handle ad-hoc IT projects from time-to-time
To take responsibility when assigned with core duties as appropriate.
Interaction with Clients / Contractors with I.T support provided as per contractual obligations.
To perform PC inventory.
Requirements:
In-depth personal computing experience, Meticulous, Precise.
Relevant and adequate experience in delivering professional services for desktop operation maintenance & management.
Multi-tasking ability. Willing to learn and acquire new skill set from time to time and as it becomes available.
Knowledge and experience managing Win2000x and XP platform.
Good analytical skill and able to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.
Knowledgeable in common applications i.e. MS Office suite, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat etc.
Good communications skill and interpersonal skills.
Able to perform effectively under pressure.
Able to demonstrate service orientation and flexibility in a team environment.
Support for Blackberry (RIM) Handsets for VIPs and Mobile end-users
Very Good Customer Service.
