Tax Compliance Coordinator

Responsibilities:
Tax Planning:
In conjunction with the Country Tax Manager, analyzing relevant tax laws and regulations as they apply to CSSSEA’s business, doing primary tax research, negotiating with local tax authorities on any tax implication applied for CSSS’s businesses in Indonesia
Work with manager to update various tax and customs planning checklists, create other tools that can be used by the BU, prepare any information and/or advise action necessary to maximize cash flow related from VAT position
Ensuring the implementation of tax planning advice agreed by business unit and Cargill Tax and Customs function
In conjunction with Assistant Tax Manager to provide tax advice to CSSSEA BU on day to day business activities
Tax Compliance:
Ensuring that the direct and indirect tax returns for CSSSEA’s companies (excluding the JV entity) in Indonesia are prepared accurately and submitted within the required timeline.
Ensuring standard tax compliance procedures are properly implemented within CSSSEA locations in Indonesia.
Ensuring tax object reconciliation is maintained on monthly basis for all types of tax reporting within CSSSEA entities in Indonesia.
Responsible for preparation of corporate tax computations and returns for all CSSSEA entities (exlcluding the JV entity) in Indonesia and filing with the Tax Authority within the statutory deadline.
Responsible for preparation of Cargill Tax US International tax packages reporting for all CSSSEA entities (including the JV entity) in Indonesia.
Prepare deferred tax calculation and ensure the deferred tax accounting balance is properly reported in accordance with US and Local GAAP.
Coordinate with BU, CFR, and external consultants as necessary to ensure tax and customs compliance.
Ensure Documentation relevant for taxation is maintained in accordance with Record Information Management policy
Tax Disputes:
Assist in handling tax and customs dispute process for CSSSEA entities (excluding the JV entity) in Indonesia including compiling and reviewing documents prior submission to the Tax Authority
Ensure appropriate documents/information required by the Indonesian tax office in respect of any tax dispute are provided within the required timeline
Training:
In conjunction with Assistant Tax Manager, providing tax and customs education and training to CSSSEA BU personnel and serving as a source of tax information for the BU and Functions in day to day operations within the BU’s locations in Indonesia
Communicate relevant legislative, administrative and other changes in in tax and customs law to the BU
Requirements:
University degree in accounting or tax
Thorough understanding of Indonesian tax laws
Understanding of tax treaty between respective countries effecting CSSS’s operation in Indonesia
Minimum 4 years of tax experience in multinational company or consulting firm
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Good computer skills especially Microsoft Office
Ability to work long hours, proactive, initiate, independent, sense of urgency, team player, accurate/careful
Ability to implement changes
High ethical standards
Having State Tax Brevet certification (at least A and B) is an advantage
Experience in dealing with government bodies
